She always thought of others first. Always looking for the best in everyone. She loved her rescue dogs and cats, always having at least one or two in their home. Jeanine was a passionate Miami Hurricanes, Dolphins and Tampa Bay Rays fan. She knew more about sports than most men. Her charity was boundless and exemplified by her mentoring in the Big Sister Program. Jeanine’s final act of selfless giving was to save the lives of three anonymous recipients of her organ donations. Predeceased by her Mother and Father, George and Laurel Ziegler. Survived by her loving husband Stephen J. Messerschmidt, many cousins, nieces and nephews and beloved cat, Gracie.
