Albert Wagner

WAGNER, Albert H., 93, of Tampa died Sunday, May 8, 2016. Mr. Wagner came to Tampa in 1953 from his native, New York. He served proudly in U.S. Army Intelligence during WWII and graduated from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He was President of Southern Alloy Steel Corp. in Tampa for over 30 years and enjoyed tennis, music, reading, travel and history. Survivors include his beloved wife of 26 years, Beth Wagner, daughter and son-in-law, Melanie & Rudy Acosta, son and daughter-in-law, Stephen & Janet Wagner, step-children, Debbie Mellman, David Mellman and Jim (Chiara) Mellman, nine grandchildren and a great grandson. A memorial service will be held Friday, 11:30 AM at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Avenue, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Florida Orchestra, Life Path Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
