Albert Wayne Siegel
Albert Wayne Siegel, of Tampa, Florida went to heaven on April 10, 2023.
He was born in Troy, Alabama to parents Frank & Anne Siegel. He was the valedictorian of his high school class and went on to attend Auburn University before moving to Tampa. He graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the University of South Florida. He worked as a computer programmer/analyst for Burroughs and then at the Hillsborough County Health Department.
On September 6th, 1968, he married Naomi Jane Tanner in Tampa Florida . They had 2 children, Jason & Rachel.
Some of his favorite things included gardening (and he had the greenest thumb around), watching comedy movies (especially Mel Brooks), playing the piano, watching college football and NASCAR He also enjoyed spending time with his family, joking and reminiscing about good times. He had a way of lightening any somber situation with an appropriate injection of humor.
Albert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jane, his children Jason W. Siegel (Tina) of Parma, Ohio, Rachel J Siegel (Jeff) of Key West, Florida, and his brother, James F. Siegel (Judy) of Spring Hill, Florida.
Albert's Granddog of 15 years, Charlie Brown preceded him in death in December and we are comforted knowing they are now reunited.
