Following a heroic fight with cancer we lost our dear Anthony Riviezzo on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Anthony was born in Waco, Texas on August 18, 1965. He was raised in a large Air Force family in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Whether Tony came into your life as a Bruner Middle School Spartan, Fort Walton Beach High School Viking, University of South Florida Bull, University of Florida Gator, or an educator of the Hillsborough County Public School system of 26 years; to him you were a life-long friend. To his wife, children, and granddaughter he will always be grandpa Grumpy, a proud Marine, loving father, and ardent husband. His warmth, gift of storytelling, and comical spirit will be missed deeply.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father Lou, mother Carmel, and brothers Louis, Christopher, and Michael. Tony is survived by his wife, Danielle, his son Nikel, daughters Isabella Capes (Daniel), Ginessa Perez, Angelica; his mom Carol Riviezzo; his siblings AJ Riviezzo (Marcy), Carmel Gray (Dallas), Philip Leeser (Angie), Kevin Leeser (Navy), Taj Hoosier (Dan), Allison Beck (Brad); his granddaughter Delaney, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024.
