Brian Colin

COLIN, Brian Herbert, age 60, of Tampa died Monday, November 3, 2014. He was born January 15, 1954 in Bronxville, NY. He grew up in Ossining, NY, and most recently lived between Salt Lake City, UT and Tampa until relocating permanently to Tampa three years ago. Survivors include his beloved companion and wife of over 12 years, Carol; mother, Phyllis Colin of St. Petersburg; step-daughters, Tatiana Bryan of Tampa, Dr. Tenessa Mackenzie of San Francisco, CA, and Tiffany Mackenzie of Atlanta, GA; step-brother Bruce Colin of NY, NY; step-sister, Susan Weitz of Fishkill, NY; in-laws, Gerald and Lois Caseley of Prince Edward Island, Canada and his faithful dog, Eli. He graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science and earned his MBA in Marketing Management and Strategic Planning at Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Brian went on to have a very successful career in marketing as Senior Vice President of Marketing. He loved deeply, cared genuinely, and was deeply loved in return. Funeral Services were held Wednesday, November 5, with interment at Gan Shalom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Mekor Shalom or the American Heart Association.
