Colonel Jack Zusman, M.D., 75 of Tampa, died Thursday April 23, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he came here in 1982 from California. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Rhoda Zusman; daughters Phyllis Zusman of Boston, Anita Zusman Eddy of California, Ellen Zusman of Tampa, and Deborah Wolfson of Tampa; 4 grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Morris Zusman of New York and Charles Zusman of New Jersey. Dr. Zusman was a retired Colonel and Commander of the MASH Army National Guard in Temple Terrace; Director of the Florida Mental Health Institute for 7 years; and then a tenured professor at USF. Graveside funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday April 27 at Gan Shalom Cemetery.
