Hetrick, David R. Jr., passed away suddenly and tragically on Thursday evening, January 10, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Our hearts are broken, and life will never be the same without him. David was a profoundly kind person, gentle soul, very gifted artist, businessman, great friend, devoted & beloved son and an incredible and proud father of three beautiful children who he raised as a single father for most of their lives. David has hundreds of friends and family throughout the United States and all around the world. As an organ donor David’s legacy will live on and help others, saving many lives. This was an incredible and generous gift for David to leave behind and we are comforted knowing that David’s light will live on in many. David was the founder of Exterior Concepts in Tampa, FL and ran that company for many years where he created hundreds of custom outdoor living spaces using his unique blend of artistry and carpentry. David loved spending time fishing, snow skiing, water skiing, canoeing, riding his classic Harley and kayaking with his children, family and many, many close friends. He was passionate about music and had an extensive vinyl record collection.
