David SAMUELS

SAMUELS, David L. 97, of Clearwater, FL, died May 26, 2016. Mr. Samuels was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived in Rochester, NY for 35 years, relocating to Florida in 1987. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII and worked as a livestock dealer in Rochester and Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Belle. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon & Mark Kantrowitz of Tampa, FL and Reva & Richard Hill of Fairport, NY; his sister, Cecil Wolfson, of Rochester, NY; six grandchildren; Robert Kantrowitz, Amy Kantrowitz (Erin Westberg), Tamra Diamond (Alex Korotkin), and Erika Diamond; and six great-grandchildren, and his companion of 15 years, Sheila Vider. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times. Interment will be in Pittsburgh, and shiva will be held at the Jewish Home in Rochester, NY on Tuesday, May 31st from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
