Dexter Lee Davis

We’re here to celebrate the homegoing of Dexter Lee Davis, born to the late Jacob Mosley and Lorraine Davis on October 29th, 1966, in Philadelphia, PA. He attended Simon Gratz High School, and later on went to graduate from police academy with Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office where he faithfully served until his health began to fail him. He was a very talented young man in many fields. He passed away on September 26th, 2023, at 4:20 pm at Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Florida.

Dexter loved life and touched many souls. He fully gave his life to God on August 9th, 2023, at Rapture Mission Ministry. He was loved by man, but God loved him the best.

His main love was music and radio station. His biggest desire was to become a radio broadcaster and promote his Christian Rock music. Dexter leaves behind to mourn a loving stepmother, pastor Cornelia Hammock, a beloved daughter Krysta Clarke, three grandchildren Joshua, Ethan, and Isabella. He also leaves behind a fiancée Tranesha Ross and her children which he loved as his own. He leaves behind five brothers, Jacob, Terrence, Ernest, Anthony, and John, as well as four sisters Iredell, Ethel, Ernestine, and Theresa. He will also be remembered by a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly.
