Donald Golden

Donald Stanley Golden, age 87 passed on March 2, 2018 at Melech Hospice House. Donald, known by his family and friends as Don, was born in Philadelphia, PA and resided in Tampa, FL for the past 28 years. Don served in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. Don loved his Philadelphia sports teams, hoagies and TastyKakes.  The thing Don loved most is his family.  Don is survived by his wife Geraldine of 63 years, three daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Mark Gruensfelder, Renee and Steven Bernstein, and Gail and Eric Cotton, four grandsons, one granddaughter and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Gan Shalom Cemetery 3527 E County Line Rd, Lutz, FL 33559 on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 2 PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity in memory of Don.

The family requests that you wear your Philadelphia or Bucs sports clothing for the funeral and for the Shiva visit.  Please no Cowboys and Giants.
