Donald Jack Zion

ZION, Donald Jack, age 92, passed away on July 23, 2025, in Ruskin, Florida. He was born on October 30, 1932, in Syracuse, NY.

Don was predeceased by his parents, Barry and Esther (née Forman) Zion, and his brothers, Earl and Stuart Zion. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandy (Kaye) Zion; his daughter, Jodie (Carl) Brendlinger of Ashburn, Virginia; his son, Jeff (Ilana) Zion of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; and his cherished grandchildren, Jordan, Lauren, Nathaniel, Zachary, and Gabriella. He is also survived by his sister, Doralee Louis, his nephew, Mike Zion, and many other nieces and nephews.

Don proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He had a deep love for his many Golden Retrievers and a lifelong connection to Israel, where he volunteered with the IDF at the age of 69.
