Donna Carol Quinn

QUINN, Donna Carol, 44, of Pinellas Park passed away on September 5, 2022, with her loving husband Michael Quinn at her side.

Donna was born on December 21, 1977 in Magnolia, Mississippi to Eileen and Ernest Lawrence.  Donna considered her step-father, Bill Johnson, to be her father, who legally adopted her at the age of 16. Donna was raised in Reston Virginia where she attended Kindergarten through her Sophomore year of High School.

During a Youth Revival, at the age of 14 Donna accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Following her profession of faith, Donna finished her High School education at a Christian School and later went on to attend Christian College.

Early on in life, Donna developed a love and skill for cooking. One of Donna’s favorite career positions was Pastry Chef at The Village of Skyline Pines, an Assisted Living Facility in South Dakota.  She was able to not only use her cooking skills but also the creative nature that was a part of everything she did. That creative nature was one of her joys as she enjoyed decorating, crafting and giving handmade gifts to family and friends.

Another of Donnas passions was her love for animals.  Her big heart allowed her to take in and help any animals that crossed her path.  Which kept things interesting as she had an endearing love for the outdoors and would spend time with her loved ones in every chance she got.

Family and friends were very important to Donna and she continued to nurture, encourage and maintain those relationships as far back as First grade!

On May 28, 2004 Donna was blessed with a spirited, beautiful baby girl, Adrionna Nicole Johnson. They traveled five years as Mother and Daughter, where they were led to Alabama and Donna met and married Michael Quinn and they became a family.

Donna was originally diagnosed with skin cancer in 2013 and then in 2021 she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Donna faced this disease with the same courage and strength that she demonstrated in all struggles and victories in her life.

Donna is loved and missed by her surviving father and mother, Bill and Eileen Johnson, her husband Michael Quinn, daughter Adrionna and her husband Felix Keller, her brother Tommy Lawrence her Aunts Kathy Kearns and Bonnie (Aunt Bunnie) Ernest, Uncle Johnny Markham and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation to support Pancreatic Cancer research and treatment. Donations can be made by mailing a check to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, MBC-FOU, 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612; online at give.moffitt.org/memorial; or by calling 1-800-456-3434 ext. 1403. Please note that the donation is in memory of Donna Carol Quinn in support of Pancreatic Cancer research and treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center.

Due to unfortunate circumstances with the weather, the interment will take place tomorrow, September 10, at 11:30 AM
