Edna Silverman

Silverman, Edna (Fraiman), age 94, of Tampa died Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Mrs. Silverman came to Tampa six years ago from Delray Beach. A 1937 honors graduate of Tilden High School in Brooklyn, NY. Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Harry, and is survived by her four loving children, Pamela (Willie), Karen (Kenn), Howard (Karen), and Lisa (Eddie), and three grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob and Amanda. Edna was a lifelong member of the1199 Union, and lived for twenty years at Huntington Lakes in Delray Beach before moving to Tampa and residing in Weinberg Village at the JCC. Hers was a life well-lived, enjoyed to the fullest. She was an avid walker and lived a healthy lifestyle. Edna had interests as varied as a love of Shakespeare, watching classic movies as well as "Sex and the City" and "Seinfeld." But her greatest love was simply to be with her family. Graveside services will be held Friday, 1:30 PM at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach.
