Elliott Osiason

Elliott Morton Osiason passed away on December 8, 2008 at the age of 82. Born in Fall River, MA and a graduate of Boston University, his family moved to Tampa FLA in the early 1950's to open Stanley Chair Company, a furniture manufacturer still run as a family business. Elliott retained his thirst for knowledge, especially science, history and travel, throughout his life. He married Lillyan Greene of Boston and had two children, Lee Osiason, Esq. now of Miami and Marjorie Osheroff, MSW now of Atlanta. In addition he leaves behind four grandchildren: Ian Rawn, Jeremy Rawn, Daniel Osiason and Jamie Osiason, and two brothers: Kenneth and Burton, and their families. Elliott will be remembered as a unique person with a rare sense of humor and adventure. His later years were marred by Alzheimer's disease, but he was lovingly cared for at the Abigail House Assisted Living, and later at West Bay Nursing Home where he passed away. Donations honoring his memory can be made to the Lillyan Neusner Leadership Fund at Temple Shaari Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Ave, Tampa 33609 (http://www.zedek.org/). A funeral services were held graveside at the Shaari Zedek Cemetery, 3508 Ola Avenue, Tampa at 11am on Wednesday December 10, 2008.
