Evelyn Axelrod

Evelyn Axelrod, age 81, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Mrs. Axelrod was born in Philadelphia, PA. and was a resident of Cherry Hill, NJ. For 41 years until moving to Tampa, FL. 3 years ago. She was employed at the Edgar Leonard Accounting firm for 25 years. She was civic and politically motivated and was involved in numerous organizations including serving as a Democratic Committee Woman for Camden County, co-director of the Landmark Socialites, a board member of the Cherry Hill Scholarship Foundation and a member of B'nai Brith. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Sidney, son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Marla Axelrod of Tampa and two grandchildren, Tara & Evan Axelrod. Funeral services and interment will be held in Tampa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
