Florence Lebos

LEBOS, Florence, age 98, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Lebos was a lifelong resident of Tampa and moved to Raleigh, NC in 1995. She graduated from Florida State College for Women, now FSU, and was a third grade school teacher. Mrs. Lebos was member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Dr. Fred Lebos. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Harvey and Marcie Lebos of Savannah, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ellen and Philip Horwitz of Raleigh, NC, brother, Arnold Argintar of St. Petersburg, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Lena Coolick, Rae Jacobs and Esta Argintar and brother, Sammy Argintar also precede her in death. Funeral services will be held 1:00p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 at Congregation Schaarai Zedek. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Schaarai Zedek or the charity of your choice.
