Garry Freid

Garry Freid, age 93 of Tampa, died Saturday, November 5, 2011. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Freid owned and operated restaurants in the Tampa area for 60 years. He was a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom for 60 years. Mr. Freid was a local founder and member of the Romeos (Really Old Men Eating Out). Survivors included his wife of 67 years, Hannah Freid, daughters Linda Grau and Eileen Koteles, sons Larry Freid and Elliott Freid, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a loving extended family and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Monday, November 7, 2011 at Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Interment will follow in Rodeph Sholom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to either LifePath Hospice or Congregation Rodeph Sholom.
