PINCUS, Hannah, 89 years of age was born January 3rd, 1932, in Union City, New Jersey and deceased October 5th, 2021, in Wimauma, Florida. A first generation American, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College and her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Miami. Hannah was a lifetime educator who served 33 years in the Dade County School System and took her passion for teaching to the American University of Japan where she taught for five years. In addition to her passion for teaching, Hannah was an adventurer who viewed the world as a small place where wonderful people lived interesting lives. Hannah is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years David M. Pincus and survived by her daughter Elissa Habib and her husband Mitchell and her Son Michael Pincus and his wife Kelly. She is also survived by her grandchildren Laura Pincus, Sarah Habib, Ilana Habib, and Nan Pincus. Hannah had one great grandchild, Elliott Habib. The family is having a private service in Lake Worth, Florida, and ask that donations be made in lieu of flowers to either Isaac M. Wise Temple in Cincinnati, Ohio (513.793.2556) or the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.
