Henrietta Bonaparte

BONAPARTE, Mrs. Henrietta Thompson (Hennie) is the daughter of James and Hattie Mae Thompson. She was born in Waynesville, North Carolina on July 16th 1927 She received her Angel Wings on December 5, 2014. She was 87 years young (or as she would say, 29). At an early age, the Thompson family relocated to the New York City area, where she attended and graduated from Morris High School. She continued her education by attaining her LPN degree from the Philadelphia Nursing School in 1958. Henrietta met and married Neil John Bonaparte in November of 1950. Out of this union, three loving children were born, Linda Renee, Marcel John and Earl John Bonaparte. Henrietta brought lotsa love, guidance, understanding, and joy to her children and family. After approximately 60 years living in the New York City area, Henrietta relocated to Tampa Bay in 1995, to be close to her children, whom had recently relocated. Til this day she was not thrilled about the move, but in her true nature, being with her children came first. Henrietta enjoyed working within her community. While residing in New York, she became a member of the Order of Eastern Star Organization. As she enjoyed this partnership, she continued within the O.E.S. organization here in the Tampa Bay area. Henrietta's hobbies included listening to music, playing the Piano, watching the Food Network, putting together puzzles, watching her daily soap operas and staying on top of the weather conditions here in Florida (we'll truly miss our family "weather lady" ). She loved to dress, and always had a pretty cool hat to compliment her many outfits. She always made everyone smile when she entered the room. As a longtime member of the Bel-Mar Presbyterian Church, she truly loved her church family. She enjoyed the Sunday services, the church music and loved sharing a few laughs during the warm, loving heartfelt puppet shows. She would always say, "find a church home, there is only one God". Mrs. Henrietta Bonaparte leaves her daughter Linda, Her son and daughter-in law Earl and Glenda, her Grandchildren Toussaint and Katrina, her Great Grandchildren Carlyn, Eric, Keyonna, Mykel and Kelis and many friends she's touched along the way. She has joined her eldest son Marcel and Granddaughter Darcella in the heavenly place we call "Home". May they all rest in peace.
