Israel Howard

HOWARD, Israel L., Sr., age 77, of Tampa died on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Mr. Howard was born in Valdosta, GA and lived in Tampa most of his life. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a bus driver with Hartline for over 30 years. He was a member of the Westshore Baptist Church and was a 32nd degree Mason. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty, sons and daughter-in-law, Israel Howard, Jr., Mario Howard, Derek Howard and Jeffrey & Dawn Howard, all of Tampa, daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie & Anthony Thomas of Palm Harbor and Kim & Norman Brubaker of Tampa, sister, Bernice Smith of Tampa, 25 grandchildren,17 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013, 11:00 AM at the Westshore Baptist Church, 305 North Manhattan Avenue. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. THERE WILL BE A LUNCHEON RECEPTION IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING SERVICES AT THE CHURCH.
