Jack A. JaRo, age 93, of Baltimore, MD., former 50 year resident of Miami died Saturday April 11, 2009. Mr. JaRo was born in New York and was a US Army veteran having served during WWII. As a military police officer and was assigned to protect President Theodore Roosevelt. After the attack on Normandy he was deployed to France and guarded the German P.O.W's. He was owner of JaRo Coiffures in Miami and was former president of the Florida Hairdressers Association. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Dorothy, survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Drs. Marlene JaRo & Joseph Feinsod and Sheri JaRo, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services with full military honors will be held Thursday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sinai Hospital Auxillary, 2401 W. Belvedere Ave., Baltimore, MD. 21215 or The Development Office, Goucher College Scholarship Endowment Fund, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson, MD. 21204.
