Jacob Ari Kamis
Kamis, Jacob of Tampa died Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Jacob was a life-long resident of Tampa and attended Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School, where he was in the 10th grade. Outside of his classes, he enjoyed baking, building model airplanes, photography, and was taking flying lessons in order to earn his private pilot’s license. Jacob was also a member of the BDCHS volleyball team as well as the Tampa Bay Raptors club team. He was a beloved team member at his part-time job at PDQ. Jacob was well-traveled and loved by so many during his lifetime.
He is survived by his mother, Katherine Alano, father, Jeffrey Kamis, stepfather, John Audet, brother, Garrett Hargroves, grandmother, Norma Kamis, grandfather, Richard Kamis, and grandparents, Esmeraldo and Lualhati Gahutan. He is also survived by his aunt, Alisa Kamis-Brinda and her husband Sean, uncle Eric Gahutan, and cousin Evelyn Brinda.
