SPIEGEL, Jennifer Eliana, 18 years old of Odessa died Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Ft. Myers as a result of an automobile accident. Jennifer was born in Albany, NY and came to Tampa in 2002 from Ohio. She was a graduate of the Academy of Lakes High School and presently was a student at Edison College in Ft. Myers. Jennifer was intelligent and possessed a bright spirit and a love of animals. She was very politically motivated, embraced her Judaism and felt a special connection to Israel. She was the beloved daughter of Ken and Maria Spiegel, cherished granddaughter of Enrique & Elsa Saldana of Peru and Robert & Maxine Spiegel of Ft. Myers along with many loving extended family members in Florida and Peru, too numerous to list. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:30 AM at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the T.O.P. Foundation, 11309 Community Campus Drive, Tampa, FL. 33625 where a scholarship for education will be established in Jennifer's name.
