FISHNER, Kenneth Ira passed on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Kenneth was born in Brooklyn, NY to his parents, Nathan and Frieda. Loving nephew of Martin Edelmen, also of New York. Eighteen years ago he met the love of his life, Terry Yanez, and when he locked eyes on him, Kenneth knew his seat was right next to Terry. The two enjoyed nearly two decades of travel on both land and sea, conversations, in which Kenneth did most of the talking, and many laughs. Five years ago, Kenneth married into a large and loving family, making the jump with Terry in Panama. Ken was incredibly financially savvy, owning multiple properties and always having a coupon on hand saying, “if there’s a coupon for that I’m using it.” Ken was also a master with words and spoke eloquently whether writing many a eulogy or poetry.
He will be missed by his husband and large extended family, and is preceded in death by his parents and brother Mark.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the animal charity of your choice in Kenneth's name. Here are a few options:
