Margot Levin

LEVIN, Margot Elaine, age 52 died Saturday, August 25, 2018. It is with great sadness that her family  announces her untimely passing after a brief illness.  She is survived by her mother, Dr. Shirley Borkowf, her extended family, and many dear friends.  Her devotion to family and friends, unfailing sense of humor, lively curiosity, and penetrating intellect will be sorely missed. Margot was born in Baltimore, MD and moved to Tampa as a child.  She graduated from Tampa Preparatory School before attending Princeton University and the Wharton School of Business.  She had a successful career as a management consultant, was active in her alumnae associations, and both enjoyed and contributed to the cultural life of New York City where she lived for many years.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Shearith Israel Synagogue in New York City.  The burial will be today, Monday 3:00 PM at Gan Shalom Cemetery in Lutz. Prayers will be held this evening at the home of her aunt and uncle, Kailie and Maurice Shaw. Her family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam be made to Congregation Beth Am in Tampa.
