Marjorie Hodes

HODES, Marjorie "Margie", age 95 of Tampa died peacefully on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Mrs. Hodes came to Tampa in 1950 from her native New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek, Schaarai Zedek Sisterhood and volunteered for numerous organizations including the City of Tampa Arts Council. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Dr. Richard Samuel Hodes. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lyn & Barry Meyerson, Granddaughter, Jill and cherished great granddaughter, Emily. Graveside services will be private. A memorial service will be held today (Monday), 11:00 AM at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 West Swann Avenue, Tampa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Amy Gail Buchman Pre-School.
