SULTENFUSS, Mary Lethia (née Jessica), 93, of Anna Maria passed away on July 26, 2021. Mary was born in Tampa to John and Vera Jessica. She attended Sacred Heart Academy where she played varsity basketball. She attended The University of Tampa and was a member of Alpha Mu Tau music fraternity, Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and the varsity basketball team. Mary also attended the University of Georgia, in Athens, GA, where she achieved a master’s degree as a Media Specialist (Librarian) and was a member of Kappa Delta Pi honor society. Mary was an award winning author and wrote “A Love Worth Waiting For” and “The D.A. and the Ballerina” published under the pseudonym Myra Holmes. She was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Holmes Beach, Florida. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Raymond B. Sultenfuss and her sister, Esther McCall. She is survived by her three sons, Raymond B. Sultenfuss Jr. (Mary Jane), Stephen G. Sultenfuss (Carol) and Laurence J. Sultenfuss, and grandchildren, Jessica, Matthew, Kimberly, Laura and Anne. In addition, there are eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday, 8/2/2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church. There will be a visitation at 9:00 AM followed by Mass at 10:00 AM.
