We mourn the passing of DMyron Fisher, of blessed memory, on Friday, March 10, 2023. He was a beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Myron (known as Mike to his family and friends), was born on March 25, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to Rose and Al Fisher. After graduating HS, Myron attended SUNY Alfred and before graduation decided to finish his studies in Medicine at the University of Illinois in Chicago. After graduation, Mike and his family moved to California to start his medical career as a Pathologist. In 1964, his family moved to Fresno where he was appointed Director of the Pathology Lab. In 1987, Mike removed to Bakersfield where he was Director at two hospitals. He retired in 2003 and moved to Florida.

Mike was well read and inquisitive, and a very spiritual and passionate man proud of his Judaism and his family. He was also a prolific traveler visiting all but one continent, (Antarctica). He married Roni Levin ('obm) in 1957 and remarried in 2005 to Marsha Sherman. He will be greatly missed by his Wife Marsha Sherman Fisher, four children: Mark (Laurel) Fisher, Steven Fisher, Bruce (Jana) Fisher and Marcy Patterson and his grandchildren: Jacob, Tracy ('obm), Ethan, Amanda, Julian, Matthew, Andrew, Aaron, Dylan, Spencer and Ian.

A funeral officiated by Rabbi Jason Rosenberg will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2PM, at Gan Shalom Cemetery in Lutz, Florida. Donations in his name may be made to Congregation Beth Am or Congregation Kol Ami.
