Rachel Jane Siegel

In the quiet of June 6, 2023 the world lost a vibrant soul. Rachel Jane Siegel, 46, of Key West, FL, who left behind a trail of glitter and melody. Born in Tampa, FL on October 9, 1976, to Naomi Jane Siegel and the late Albert Wayne Siegel, Rachel graced this earth with her presence and left an indelible mark.

Rachel's life was a symphony, with each note played with passion and fervor. She was a clinical pharmacist at Lower Keys Medical Center, a healer who tended to those in need. Her heart, however, belonged to music. Rachel was a maestra, her fingers dancing on the concertina in Tricorn- The Pirate Band and Blarney Rubble- Key West. Her talent knew no bounds, and she played 11 different instruments with ease.

Rachel was a muse, her creativity flowing like the waves she loved to sail. She was an artist with a camera, capturing moments that would have otherwise been lost to time. Her paintings were a reflection of her soul, a kaleidoscope of colors that mesmerized all who beheld them. Rachel was a lover of all things Disney, and her joy was contagious. She held a season pass to the park and spent countless hours chasing her favorite character, Pluto.

Rachel was a beacon of light, a star that shone brighter than most. She is survived by her Mother Naomi Jane Siegel, her Brother Jason Wayne Siegel (Tina), her Uncle James Siegel (Judy), her Aunt Marilea C. Tanner-Linne, and her Cousins Cheryl Siegel, Dorinda Mueller (Randy), William Linne and Robert Linne (Katherine), and her sweet Portuguese Water Puppy Cali. She was preceded in death by her father Albert Wayne Siegel and her beloved Portuguese Water Dog Charlie Brown.

On June 15, 2023, at 2 pm, Rachel's life will be celebrated at Segal Funeral Home, located at 3909 Henderson Blvd. in Tampa, FL. The service will be livestreamed here. (The password is SEGAL2023)

Let us gather together to pay tribute to this beautiful soul who graced us with her presence. Though she is gone, Rachel will live on in our memories, a melody that will never fade away.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the family to help reconcile Rachel's affairs in Key West. You can access the go-fund-me link here.
