Robert Lynn

LYNN, Robert Julian "Bob", age 74 of Tampa died Monday, February 11, 2013. Mr. Lynn came to Tampa in 1962 from his native, New Jersey. He attended Weequahic High School in Newark, New Jersey and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) with a mechanical engineering degree. Bob was the founder of Arco Food Service, restaurant equipment company which he operated for over 25 years. He was a member and former board member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom and a dedicated volunteer with the Chesed Shel Emes. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph "Joey" & Ellen Lynn of Tampa and Andrew "Andy" & Michelle Lynn of Wilbraham, MA, brother and sister-in-law, Gerald "Jerry" & Sara Lynn of Wesley Chapel, grandchildren, Hannah, Aaron, Joshua & Courtney, his best friend and former wife, Roberta "Cookie" Lynn and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013, 10:00 AM at Rodeph Sholom Synagogue, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom, the Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute, C/O Gifts Processing Center, P.O. Box 3164, Boston, MA 02241-3164, Lifepath Hospice or the charity of ones choice.
