Robert Rodriguez

RODRIQUEZ, Robert (age 87), of Tampa, passed away on March 4, 2019. Robert was born in Tampa on January 20, 1932 to Julio and Grace Rodriguez. He was a fireman for the City of Tampa for 20 years and owned and operated Emerald Pools for over a decade. In 1951 he married Nancy Gigilo and together they had two children. Robert enjoyed baseball, bowling and spending quality time with his family. Survivors include his beloved wife of 68 years, Nancy Rodriguez; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Wilfredo Marquez; son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Janice Rodriguez; grandchildren Natalie Brown, Alyea Felicione and Stephanie Rodriguez, as well as 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Church of The Holy Spirit, located at 601 Philippe Parkway, in Safety Harbor, at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Church of The Holy Spirit.
