Sandra "Sandy" Feuerstein

Sandra "Sandy" Lynn Feuerstein, age 72, passed away on October 8, 2024, 

Sandy was born on August 5, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Sidney and Esther Kaufman. She graduated with a Bachelor's in elementary education from The Ohio State University. Sandy came to Tampa from her native, Cleveland, Ohio, in 1984. She was a dedicated preschool teacher at The JCC preschool for 30 years. Sandy, commonly referred to as MamaFoy, was a loving and caring woman who touched the lives of so many both young and old. 

Sandy is the wife to her loving husband of 49 years, the late Gary Feuerstein, Mother of the late Andy Feuerstein and Mother-in-law to Jennie Yoder, Mother and Mother-in-law to Jill and Lewis Chazan, Sister to Ricki Kaufman and Grandmother to Ella, Mia and Ethan. 

She was a loving mom, aunt, amma, daughter and friend to so many. She will be sorely missed. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Tampa Jewish Community Centers & Federation Pre-school (Please use the youth scholarship section) . A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 1:00 PM at Congregation Beth Am with a graveside service immediately following at Gan Shalom Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and the information is below:
