Selma Pugan

Selma was born on October 29, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York.  Selma was raised in the projects of Redhook.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Elly, her mother Ruth Gordon, and her sister Lorraine Greenblatt.

Selma is survived by her daughter Lynn B. Velt and her husband, Paul.  Selma has two beautiful grandchildren, Jennifer and Eric.  Selma also had a son, Andrew Robert.  Unfortunately, Andrew Robert only lived a week.  Selma often spoke about the baby she lost.  It deeply affected her.  Selma then had a third child, Scott.  Selma and Scott lived together and every day was an adventure.

Everyone will remember Selma as a feisty lady.  She always had a story to tell and was never at a loss for words.

A life well lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Congregation Mekor Shalom or a charity of ones choice.
