Sheila Marie Burchfield

Sheila Marie Burchfield passed away June 9, 2023, due to health challenges she endured over the last 18 months. Sheila was born in Columbus, Georgia on September 23, 1963, to Robert Howard Stewart and Heidi Marie Stewart (Simpkins). Her father served in the U.S. military and was stationed in Germany where he met Sheila's Mom. The family ultimately settled down in Northern Virginia, where she graduated Herndon High School in 1982, and went on to study Business and

Nursing. Sheila enjoyed being a nurse, and later in life became her father's caretaker. She enjoyed music, singing, traveling, attending sporting events and spending time with her family. One of the most important parts of Sheila’s life was being Sydney's Mom. Sydney was the light of Sheila’s life, only to be made brighter when her first granddaughter Harley came along. To Sydney her mom was everything. Sheila was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Michael Stewart (2012) and her father Robert Howard Stewart (2022).

She is mourned by: Mother, Heidi Simpkins; Daughter, Sydney Bolin (Jeremy Bolin);

Granddaughter, Harley Bolin; Sister Angela Thomas (Bill Thomas); Niece, Christine Thomas, Nephew, Dylan Thomas, and Sister, Michelle DiRienzo.

Services for Sheila will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Lake Carlton Arms Clubhouse 3 (17875 Sailfish Dr. Lutz, FL 33558) from 2:00 - 5:00 PM
