Thedra Giorgilli

Giorgilli, Thedra “Teddy” L. (nee Cohen), 88, passed away on January 28, 2019, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Anthony Giorgilli, and is survived by her children Michael (Maria) Giorgilli of Lynchburg, VA, Frank Giorgilli of Philadelphia, PA, Linda Rice of Tampa, FL, Marla Giorgilli of Tampa, FL, and grandchildren Rhea and Allison Giorgilli of Lynchburg, VA. She is also survived by her sister, Iris Goodwin (Bob Shorb), sisters-in-law, Anna D’Adamo and Mary Giorgilli, and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Teddy and Tony moved in 2008 to Tampa to be closer to their daughters. Teddy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her kindness and compassion, a memory treasured by family and friends.

A private funeral service was held on January 30, 2019, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Contributions in her memory can be made to LifePath Hospice (Tampa, FL) or a charity of choice.
