Todd Solomon, 82 passed away Saturday April 9th. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane and his daughter, Amy. Todd was a gentleman in every sense. He loved and cared deeply for his daughter and wife.

He served in the Army as a Pfc. Stationed in Souel, Korea, he wrote for the Army newspaper. His hobby in New Jersey where he lived for 30 years, was old cars, particularly the British Morris Minor and his 1964 1/2 red Mustang. After his retirement in 1989 from AT&T he learned how to golf and played regularly from 1996-2009 in New Tampa.

During a sojourn living in Sun City Carolina Lakes he joined the woodworkers club and fulfilled a lifelong dream of learning how to turn wood. He leaves a legacy of beautiful bowls, platters and decorative items. Until a few weeks before his death, he was keeping fit by walking 4,000-6,000 steps a day. Todd enjoyed collecting and drinking wine and imbibing a small glass of Jonnie Walker Blue. His brilliant mind maintained a storehouse if knowledge. As a childhood avid reader, he read the encyclopedia and his element was the internet where he spent hours a day reading news, studying wine, and keeping informed about every subject.

Todd is genuinely missed by his relatives and many friends. All who knew him were enriched by his friendship.
