Tracy Clay

November 1, 1976 — August 7, 2018

Tracy Clay

Tracy LaJoseph Clay was born November 1, 1976 in Buffalo, New York to the late Stacy & Cora Clay. He was the oldest of their children. He was a person who loved to learn and in his youth, one who loved sports. He attended high school at Williamsville North High Senior and excelled at football. In this time he found his love Evanie Jones - both young but full of love. He graduated in 1994, and went on to Grambling University, in Louisiana, to take his football talents to another level. Here is where his long fight with his health started.

Tracy then came back to Buffalo, New York and here is where his love for computers and technology began. The understanding, an infatuation of what was held in these computers, helped develop the man he was. In this time he married Evanie Jones and they built a life, leaving New York for Charlotte, North Carolina, and creating a family of their own. Together they made four beautiful children, Alexis Olivia, Maya Angelique, Tracy Jr, and Gabrielle Faith, and built a life together. Tracy took his final breaths and parted this earth on August 7, 2018 and will be laid to rest on August 17, 2018.

Tracy is survived by his four children; mother Cora Clay; brothers Korey, Taliaferro, Stacy and Eric; sisters, Tammy {Duplantis}, Unapolis {Cole} and Tiffani {McNair}; sisters and brothers-in-law, a slew of nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at Open Door Church located at 2908 Bell Shoals Road in Brandon, at 1:00 PM.
