JACOBSON, Victoria Poller, 90, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008. Vicki, a long time resident of Tampa, was born in Cairo, Georgia. She attended Hillsborough high School. Her family were early Ybor City entrepreneurs, establishing Poller's Department Store in 1921 and Cement Roofing Industry. Vicki was preceded by her mother, Annie Poller, father Abraham Poller, brothers Nathan, Oscar, and Fred Poller, and son-in-law Jack Danile. She is survived by her son Mel Sonny Jacosbon and his wife Cynthia; daughter Sonya Jacobson Daniele; grandsons Robert and David Jacobson; nieces Phyliss Feldman and Joan Poller; and many long time friends. She was a member of Haddasah, the Sisterhood, and Jewish War Veteran's. Special thanks to Drs. Morris Hannon, Stephen Kreitzer, and Frank Lane, and the staff at Bayshore Point and LifePath Hospice. Victoria loved to travel, her family, gardening, and cooking. Graveside services wilil take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at her son's home starting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to your favorite charity.
