Vincenzo Dellosa

Vincenzo Dellosa, a beacon of love and wisdom, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2024, at the age of 88 in Tampa, Florida. Born in Casoli, Italy, on November 11, 1935, Vincenzo's journey was marked by his indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication to his family and community. 

Vincenzo's life was a testament to the power of hard work and perseverance. After immigrating to the United States with little to his name, he channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into the hospitality industry, becoming a respected self-employed motel owner. His establishment was not just a business but a reflection of his hospitality, welcoming guests with the warmth and generosity that defined him. 

Known for his heart of gold, Vincenzo was the epitome of love and honesty. Intelligence shone through in every endeavor he undertook, and his willingness to lend a helping hand knew no bounds. He was the cornerstone of his family, ensuring that their needs were met with the same diligence and care he applied to his work. 

Vincenzo's love for soccer began at an early age and flourished through his early adult years as a semi-professional soccer player in Italy. His spirited nature and zest for life continued throughout his years, inspiring all who knew him. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Eva, who was the love of his life and partner in all things. Together, they built a legacy of love that will continue to flourish through their children, Cathy Carden and Domenico (Kimberly) Dellosa. His presence will be dearly missed by his adoring grandchildren, Rebecca Meeker (Austin), Brianna Dellosa, and Luca Dellosa, and his great-grandson, Kayce Meeker, who brought him immense joy in his later years. 

Vincenzo was the cherished brother of the late Mario Dellosa and Tina DiPrinzio. He will be fondly remembered by his nephew John D’Amico (Tami) and nieces, Ann Marie Gibson (Jim), Nancy Greene (Geoff), Anouk Bourgeois (Christian), and Katia Dellosa, who will hold dear the values and memories he shared. The absence of his late niece Daniela Pereira will be felt alongside his. 

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Vincenzo Dellosa was a man of exceptional character, whose loving, intelligent, and spirited nature touched the lives of many. His story is one of a journey from humble beginnings to a life rich with accomplishment and love. 

Vincenzo's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His profound impact on his family and community will be felt for generations to come. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we celebrate the life he lived and the countless ways he enriched our world.
