DOCKSER, Enid Deborah, 78, of Tampa passed away on April 14, 2021. Enid was born and raised in the Boston area, living almost her entire life in Newton, Massachusetts. She received her BA from Tufts University and received her Masters in Education from New York University. Enid was dedicated to her family, a true soccer mom, always there to feed or drive the team anywhere. Enid enjoyed travel, playing tennis, yoga, going to restaurants with friends, knitting and doing the daily New York Times crossword puzzle. Enid and Ron left the snow behind and retired to sunny Tampa, Florida in 2013.
Most recently, Enid especially enjoyed visiting with her six grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Pamela Dockser Miniati (Mike), Cindy Ruzicka (Mike), and Hillary Burns (Dan), her sister Norma Linsky and her brother Neil Linsky, and six grandchildren Liz, Maddie, Adam, Corey, Francesca and Rachel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Rose Linsky and her beloved husband of 48 years, Ronald Dockser.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Enid's memory to the National Brain Tumor Society, an organization that is very important to her family and is based in her hometown of Newton, MA. Private interment will be held at Gan Shalom Cemetery.
