Joanne Weisman

WEISMAN, Joanne, age 85 died Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Mrs. Weisman was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was an elementary school teacher and started her career at GreenBay Roads School in Highland Park, IL. Locally she taught for 18 years at Mort Elementary, 17 years at Hunters Green Elementary and retired from Lewis Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Ashleigh and devoted son-in-law, Robert Saunders. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ethan & Adriana Wesiman, daughter, Daryl Saunders and grandchildren, Joshua Weisman and Diane Saunder-Kimball and her sister, Marcia Soffer. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 29th, 3:00pm at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Boulevard, Tampa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Community Center Preschool's North Branch, 13013 Community Campus Drive, Tampa, FL 33625
