In this world, we all need second mothers, and I was so fortunate that this lovely lady was mine. She opened her heart, her home, and her family to me and my family, and all she asked was to hug her when you saw her, laugh when you talk with her, eat when the party was going, and always, always love each other. Words cannot convey how much I will miss her and how much she will be missed by all whose life she enriched, which was everyone she embraced with her spirit and her warmth. I love you, Mom.

To my other mother Pat. You and Jim opened your hearts and home to all of your children’s friends and families and made us all feel like part of your family. . You were always there for me and my brother. You and my mom had an amazing friendship. Between the 2 of you you raises 5 us. And your legacy will live on in you children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Love you!

I use to stay at my sisters house every summer. One summer when Sean was about 2 years old Patty and I went out on the front porch for about 5 min. Sean was suppose to be taking a nap. When we came in the whole family room was covered in baby powder. Patty was yelling at him why had he done this. He said through little tears “I just wanted to make the house pretty for you mommy.” She gave him a big hug and apologized for yelling and her and I looked at each other trying to figure out how to clean up the mess. I will miss the fun times we had together. You will be greatly missed. Love you sis. Linda
