My beautiful baby sister, Ruthie Tammy Levy, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday morning September 19th, 2020. She was 54 years old and left behind her beautiful 13 yr old daughter Holly. She suffered so much pain for so long, and now she is no longer suffering. Ruthie was the healthiest person I know, always reading nutrition books, ingredients on every package, eating lots of fruits and vegetables and very knowledgeable about holistic remedies and the attributes of anything she used on or put in her body. At a gorgeous slim and in shape 5’6” tall and 125lbs, she was skin and bones and about 80 pounds when she passed. My sister dedicated her life to her daughter Holly. A devoted and dedicated mother - Ruthie always searched for programs, education and fun activities for Holly to enjoy,  and she raised a beautiful and smart little girl. Prior to having Holly, she earned her degree in Interior Design, and prior to that was always involved in child care and taking loving care of other people’s children when she decided it was time for her to have her own. She was a huge animal lover, always had dogs and cats, and loved horses. Ruthie passed away on Rosh Hashana - The Jewish New Year, which makes her a Tzadekket -  righteous one, someone who fights for justice, and indeed she always stood for what she thought is fair and the right thing to do. She has now joined and is together with our parents, and I know I have the strength to care for her and Holly all these months while my parents were looking down from above.
