Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

William Martin Cortes, 47, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on 03/25/21.
He was born to parents Flor Jiménez Cortes and William Cortes, on 01/27/1974 in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
William met Marisol Bouhot in 1999. They were married on 11/21/2003 in Tampa, Florida.. Together they raised 3 children:  Laura Catalina Cortes/ Alexander Martin Cortes/ Christopher Martin Cortes.
William is survived by Yaleizya Sanchez, daughter, Gabriela Cortes Hernandez, sister, Alexa Hernandez, niece, Gabriel Hernandez, nephew , Noah Hernandez, nephew, Arturo Cortes, brother, Tatiana Torres, niece, Giselle Cortes, niece, Ariana Cortes, niece, Christian Cortes, nephew, Humberto Cortes, brother, Giana Cortes, niece, Celeste Cortes, niece, Elias Cortes, nephew, Jeremiah Cortes, nephew,Claudia Cortes Padgett, sister, Cecilia Cortes, niece, Cinia Hilaga, niece, Claudia Padgett, niece, and Flory Cortes, sister.
He was preceded in death by Jose Jimenez Esquivel, grandfather, Claudina Cuadra, grandmother, Jorge Cortes, grandfather, Hilda Maria Nuñez grandmother, Tulio Jimenez, uncle, Nelly Jimenez, aunt, Odilie Jimenez, aunt, Carmen Jimenez, aunt.

Since childhood Tin was a loving and caring individual.  He was the type of person that if able to help would do so in a heartbeat. He enjoyed having long conversations over a beer and offering, in his very unique way, sound advice.  While Tin struggled over the last several years, his love for his family and friends was evident.  It is that love, caring spirit and infectious laugh he leaves behind that all who knew him will cherish. While Tin left us too soon, I thank God for the time he allowed us all to share with him.
