CHARLIE RUMORE

Operations Manager

Segal Funeral Home is proud to announce the appointment of Charlie Rumore as our staff services director. Charlie has been serving families throughout our community for over 30 years in their time of need. After the firm he was previously associated with was acquired by a corporation, Charlie felt conflicted not only by the change in ownership but more so the change of philosophy. “I always got a tremendous amount of satisfaction in helping people, once the focus went from service to sales, it just wasn’t the same,” said Rumore. Charlie’s new position marks a return to a tradition of caring and service at a fair price. Charlie Rumore maintains his commitment to helping his friends with dignified funeral and cremation arrangements either before or during their time of need.

MACKENZIE MITCHELL

Director's Assistant

Mackenzie grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, and moved to Pittsburgh to pursue a degree in Russian. After completing this degree she found a love for writing and poetry, sticking around another year to finish a second bachelor's in English. While she loved Pittsburgh, she decided it was time for a new adventure, with much more sunshine, and made her way to Tampa. After personally experiencing the loss of a loved one and remembering what it meant to have a compassionate funeral director to aid in the grieving process, she wanted to do the same for others.
